Through our ClubHouse
Theatre acting program, youth ages 8+
study all aspects of theater in a supportive environment
while participating in a musical production. Students
have an opportunity to participate in regular
productions throughout the year.
Auditions and classes take place on the stage
of the Boys & Girls Club of Huntington Valley's
Kingston
Branch, which is located one mile from the
ClubHouse Academy (directions).
Parents and children are welcome to visit our
facility, or view the program
(3 MB) or cast
photo from a recent production.

Fee:
$200 (beginning/intermediate);
$250 (advanced). Membership
fee of $15 is required for all new
members (valid September 2008 through
August 2009).
Fees cover rehearsals,
script, major costume pieces, music CD,
dance instruction, voice lessons,
show t-shirt, cast party and gift.
Actors are also expected to sell 10 show
tickets at $5 each.
UPCOMING PRODUCTIONS...
Bah Humbug! (Beginning/Intermediate)
Auditions: Tuesday,
September 9th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm (ages
8 and up), on the stage at our Kingston
Branch in Fountain Valley. Based on
auditions actors will be placed in Cast
A or Cast B.
Rehearsals: Wednesdays
from 5:00-6:30pm (Cast A) or 6:30-8:00pm
(Cast B) plus one scheduled Saturday per month
from 10am-2:00pm.
Production Dates: December 1 - 7 (mandatory)
The Sound of Music (Advanced):
Auditions: Thursday,
September 4th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on the stage
at our Kingston
Branch.Plan to
stay the entire time. Auditions for
the advanced production are competitive;
actors should be prepared to read lines
and sing a song of their choice.
Call backs: Based on the first audition, actors may be asked to return for call backs on Monday,
September 8th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, also on the stage
at our Kingston
Branch.Plan to
stay the entire time.
Rehearsals: Thursdays from 5:30-8:00pm
and one scheduled Saturday per month from
10am-2:00pm. Missing more than three rehearsals will result in the dismissal of your part.
Production Dates: January 26-31 and February 6-7 (all production dates are mandatory)
